If special tools are required to maintain yor products, you may consider producing a separate manual to identify them. We can supply a Tool and Equipment Manual in either paper form or as an electronic interactive manual.

Whilst a manual of this type can be produced in paper format, we prefer electronic publication via a web site or on an intranet. We believe there are several good reasons for this:

• Tool and Equipment Manuals are normally illustrated, and in an age of digital photography, photographic images are an ideal way of producing those illustrations. Unfortunately, publishing photographic images in paper format is prohibitively expensive whereas electronic publishing is both cost effective and simple.

• A paper manual can only contain telephone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses for placing orders. With an electronically published document, a form can be built into the document to allow orders to be submitted directly.

• In a paper manual, fluctuating information such as price is difficult to keep up to date. With an electronic document those changes can be made as frequently as they are needed.
